The Answers May Be Here
Do I have to practice each Eye Yoga exercise every day?
For optimal results, it’s recommended you practice each exercise in your custom program each day. We recommend practising each day for a short while rather than waiting all week and trying to fit all your exercises in at once. When you start seeing results there’s a good chance you’ll want to find even more time in your day for Eye Yoga!
Can I still practice Eye Yoga if I had an eye surgery?
You sure can. However, it is not recommended to perform eye exercises for 7 days after vision correction surgery, and 14 days after glaucoma or cataract surgery. If you’ve had, or are planning any other eye procedures we recommend consulting your doctor for specific advice on when it’s safe to begin your Eye Yoga program again.
Please Note: If your Eye Yoga exercises cause pain or discomfort, try reducing the resistance or frequency of your program. Consult your physician if pain persists.
Do I still need to do individual exercises if I don’t like them?
There’s no obligation to nail every Eye Yoga exercise if you don’t enjoy them – though we’ve found the overwhelming majority of people enjoy the results so much they choose to do all exercises! Just like going to the gym, the more muscles you work out, the better the results. So a comprehensive program will be more effective than picking individual exercises.
Can my eye sight get worse from doing Eye Yoga exercises?
Absolutely NOT. Eye Yoga has been carefully designed, with each exercise taking less than 60 seconds to promote healthy muscle repetition in your eyes to eliminate strain through moving your eyes in different directions.
Does Eye Yoga really work?
Don’t take our word for it, we’ll let one of the many scientific studies speak for itself. A study involving office workers in India indicated that daily Eye Yoga can significantly cut down on the blurry eyes, pain and dryness that frequent computer users experience. In the study,
half of the participants did yoga for 30 minutes per day, five days per week while the other half followed their normal routines. The yoga program included 10 minutes of regulated yogic breathing, 15 minutes of eye yoga exercises and 5 minutes of guided relaxation.
